Well, apologies for the small update drought we've been suffering over the last few weeks. I've had a lot of work to do, and I've had my priorities right, hopefully. That doesn't mean that I haven't been working on the site. In fact, it's quite the opposite.
There may not have been a lot of updates, but there's a big change in the information section - the characters page has been completely revamped. Why, you may be wondering. Well, if I was going to keep adding characters like I planned to, I didn't want the page to be overly long. So, in keeping with thinking outside the box, I used a script called iBox. Now, when you click on a thumbnail of the character, it brings up the details in an inline box. This minimises the clutter, and since you're more likely to recognise your favourite characters' appearances rather than names, it makes sense to have images at the forefront. And let me know what you think of the inline viewer, because it may be coming soon to a few more pages.
The obligatory Simpsons Ride update - and it's officially 'soft-opened'. That means that it's open, but not too heavily advertised before it's May 15th official opening date. IOA Central has all the things you'll need. Enjoy. Posted on 04 May 2008; by Andy

Well, it's been a little while since my last update, purely because I've been swamped this week with work from college. Bad times. But I have a little bit of content for you today, so be grateful!
In fact, let's get straight to that. 2 brand new wallpapers take our total up to 24 desktops, now including Bart and Krusty the Clown. Nice.
And, to explain the Simpsons Ride logo to the left, there's some news that may interest those of you that'll be desperate to ride it. It's opening at Universal Studios Orlando on May 15th, and two days later in Hollywood. And, honestly, it looks fantastic. We can finally see behind the construction wall, and it looks really good - lots of carnival stalls, and a really nice classic-theme-park feel. The LA Times says it's more than a Back to the Future clone, saying that $40million has been spent transforming the ride. And, for those of you desperate for more news, it's worth keeping half an eye on Screamscape and IOA Central for all the latest. More updates soon, folks. And give the random link generator a whirl, it's over on the sidebar.
EDIT! I've changed the poll, and you can get the results from the last one on the voting booth page. 49% of people love the design, while 31% couldn't get over the fact that it's pink. Who would win, Snake, Ralph, Matt Groening? Have your say. Posted on 19 Apr 2008; by Andy

Well, you might say it's about time, but you might not have been expecting this from me so suddenly. I finally have the missing section up and running, after working on it a little the past week. It's, of course, the movie page - and it's pretty similar to when you last saw it.
We still have a full plot, we still have high-quality movie posters (including some rare German varities that I thought I'd throw in anyway) and we still have detailed descriptions of trailers - videos'll be coming asap, it's just hell to try and find them off youtube and for them to not get deleted. However, we've now beefed up the DVD page, listing all of the features including the deleted scenes - and we've now managed to get a screenshot of each one to help jog your memory (; Top that off with captures of the movie DVD menus and that's the movie page in a nutshell. It's all rounded off with a nice tabbed design that could feature more and more over the site once the pages beef up a little bit. Let me know what you think of the interface, and of course the content.
Hope you're all enjoying the miniguide - I know for a fact that I am. I could never have imagined that it would come in so handy, so make sure to review your favourite episodes because the homepage and the guide are much more closely linked now. Search coming soooon! Posted on 10 Apr 2008; by Andy
